# Jurella 0.2.2

Jurella now sends formatted email replies and Word memos, knows which lawyer leads each matter, and serves each
lawyer from their own agent mailbox. This release also includes admin-page and security fixes.

### For lawyers
- Replies from the agent are formatted email: paragraphs, bullet lists, and case names, Id. and supra in italics.
Mail is signed off "Best," then "Agent" on the next line.
- A long research answer comes as a short summary in the email with the full memo attached as a Word document
  (real bullets, spacing and italics).
- When a matter's lead lawyer is not clear, the agent asks once per matter "Who's leading this matter?" and then
  writes in the lead's style.
- On a new install with no matters yet, the agent asks "Should I open a new matter for <client>?" before filing a
  client request.
- Each lawyer is served from their own agent mailbox when one exists.
- When the agent cites an email, the time is shown in the firm's time zone.
- Citation checks also cover New York statutes and short-form case citations.
- The review queue says "You're not on this matter's team" on rows you can't open.

### For firm IT
- Everything is renamed Jurella: the Windows service is now `Jurella-Server`, the Docker Compose service `jurella`,
the server image `ghcr.io/bkbolnick/jurella`, the command `jurella` (the old `ai-associate` command still works
  until 0.4.0), backups `jurella-backup-<time>.tar.gz`, downloads `Jurella-server-kit-<version>.zip`,
`Jurella-windows-server-<version>.zip` and `Jurella-desktop-<version>-...`. Microsoft 365 apps and mailboxes
created by the setup scripts use Jurella names; objects created before the rename are still found.
- The Windows server zip now unpacks to a `Jurella-<version>-windows-x64` folder (was `AI-Associate-...`).
- New setup script `New-LawyersGroup.ps1` creates the lawyers group and adds the lawyers. The IT guide has a
step-by-step Windows path (section 2a) and uses `<lawyer>-agent@` mailbox names throughout.
- The admin page can sit behind Cloudflare Access for access from outside the office (off by default; see the IT
  guide).
- Alerts when a firm address writes to an agent mailbox it is not on the roster for; doctor and the status page
  warn about agent mailbox coverage.
- Lawyers need the Reviewer role to approve their own drafts; New-AdminApp can assign it to the lawyers group, and
doctor and the IT guide remind you.
- Slow jobs run off the mail path, so mail never waits behind them.
- Readiness lists every hold reason; activation says when the firm is at its server limit.
- Security fixes: same-origin admin form posts accepted safely, encrypt-existing holds the log lock while it
swaps a file, no fetched document is left in a temp folder after a hard stop, Gmail sends refuse a body without
  the agent sign-off.

### Upgrading from 0.2.1
- Windows service: run the 0.2.2 install with the same account as before; it stops the old `AI-Associate-Server`
service, installs `Jurella-Server`, and removes the old one. If anything fails, the old service is restored.
- Docker: run `docker compose down --remove-orphans` with the old compose file before switching to the new one;
  data volumes keep their names.
- Desktop app: the Windows installer closes and replaces the old app. On a Mac, drag the old Quillary app to the
Trash; the first start of Jurella may ask once for keychain access: click "Always Allow".
- Old backups (`ai-associate-backup-*`) restore the same way.

## Install or upgrade

- Server image: `ghcr.io/bkbolnick/jurella:0.2.2` (signed; check it with the `cosign verify` command
in the IT install guide, section 3).
- IT kit: `Jurella-server-kit-0.2.2.zip` (compose file already set to this version, setup scripts, guides).
- Check downloads against `SHA256SUMS`.
